5210 - The Healthy Way to Go

5210 is a set of resources and tools to encourage children and their whānau to eat vegetables and fruit, limit screen time, be active, and drink water or milk instead of sugary drinks. 

 

5 Messages to Keep Your Family Healthy

A set of '5 messages to keep your family healthy' resources that aim to:

  • simplify key health messages in the community.
  • reduce hospitalisations for preventable diseases such as rheumatic fever and skin infections.
  • promote the 0800 Healthline number to help improve access to affordable health advice.
  Breastfeeding Friendly Spaces Accreditation 

Breastfeeding Friendly Spaces accreditation aims to normalise breastfeeding in public spaces by supporting them to create supportive environments for breastfeeding mothers.

 

Building Blocks for Under 5s 

Building Blocks for Under 5s is a comprehensive online tool developed to support Early Childhood Education Services (ECE) to improve and sustain the health and wellbeing of pre-school children, their parents and whānau, and ECE staff.

  Healthy Active Learning

Healthy Active Learning (HAL) is a Government Wellbeing Budget initiative which aims to promote and improve healthy eating and physical activity in schools, kura and early learning services across Aotearoa.

HAL supports schools, kura, early learning services and kohanga reo to develop healthy food and drink policies and environments though new curriculum resources, advisor support and healthy food and drink toolkits. 

Hapū Hauora

Hapū Hauora is a web-based health resource to improve Māori health and celebrate whānau wellbeing. Hapū Hauora provides whānau, hapū and iwi with resources, tips, interactive tools, and templates they can use to complement traditional health and wellbeing practices. 

   

Workplace Wellbeing 

Workplace wellbeing is about doing everyday business in a way that leads to an improvement in staff wellbeing.  A range of free programmes and tools are available to workplaces to support their wellbeing.
